InSearch IT is seeking a Performance Analyst for our client in Omaha, NE. Work from home for candidates located in the Omaha area only. The Performance Analyst is responsible for the overall development, support and maintenance of the Business Unit’s performance management processes. This includes establishment and sustainment of performance management processes for technology and security portfolio, technology and security operations and governance reporting. This position will lead cross-functional Technology and Security teams to design, develop, and integrate technology and security performance management processes, procedures and metrics utilizing best practices and industry standard frameworks. The role will establish process-related policies, standards, governance, and methodologies to enable the Technology and Security departments to adopt performance process management culture. This position will be responsible for designing and publishing Technology and Security departments’ scorecard and performance dashboard, identifying negative trends, performing root cause analysis, developing remediation plans, and retesting of KPIs. This role will work closely with the Technology and Security department’s management to ensure that a robust process governance structure is in place to cover every process aspect, including data and metrics, are deployed across Technology and Security functions. Facilitate financial planning, reporting and day-to-day financial processes for the Technology and Security department.

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent business experience.
  • 5 + years of project/program management, process management and/or functional planning experience.
  • 3 + years hands-on experience developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/ metrics and process to report/ analyze results for these metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting information to management and leadership.
  • Demonstrated business acumen in communicating and collaborating at various levels in an organization.
  • Advanced user of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint). Tool usage and expertise that includes Excel Pivot tables, Tableau and Power of BI or other tools related to queries and data manipulation.
  • Experience performing data analysis for operational and senior management. Knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, systems and reporting including understanding of the financial dynamics of a business.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to present complex concepts and make them understood at all levels of the organization, both to technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders.
  • Must have strong relationship building, influencing and consultation skills, able to establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients.
  • Display willingness to understand, bring together and bridge diverse points of view to represent status correctly.
  • Highly analytical individual with a keen eye for details.
Desired:
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Prior experience managing the performance of a technology organization operational budget and capital budget.
  • Experience with Tableau reporting, scorecard and dashboard development or similar tool.
  • Must be able to educate managers and project managers on how to use data.
  • Experience managing and improving service processes preferably in ITIL and COBIT framework
